  1. They are incredible to be able to hold up to the magnification, Siggi.
  2. Beautiful work and a great thing to donate to the camp. I would say just add them to this build. Or are they totally different types?
  3. For plastic models, generally you'll need plastic model glue. For wood, just about any wood glue will work.
  4. Without seeing the issue, it sounds like something is out adjustment. You can PM Jim here at MSW.
  5. Is there a company and address on the booklet or box? You'd probably have to contact them. But with the times they way they are, you'll probably be waiting awhile. Also check as some companies have email to contact them.
  6. For ,me it was the Adams Family. "Talk French to me 'Tish.".... Love the build Robert. Is that the Munsters version?
  7. Well done, Jack. Definitely two thumbs up on the model.
  8. If they were tied down at night or for any period time, the ailerons, rudder and elevator would also be tied down. If not, they'd flop about when the wind blew.
  9. I think you're sand-bagging us, Tom, and those are actually full size. Where did you find the 10-foot long clothespin?
  10. Right.. separate log for each model. Makes it easier to find logs when doing research.
  11. Here's probably more than you'll ever want to know about the Sheridan.... https://nationalinterest.org/blog/the-buzz/the-curious-case-the-us-armys-m551-sheridan-light-tank-19227. They just reposted this article recently.
  12. That's different... flying and the props aren't rotating. I hope that's a model but......
  13. If you haven't been there, his site has lots of those parts.... http://dafinismus.de/index_en.html
  14. When you start the restoration, put it in the Scratch area and add "Restoration" to the title.
  15. You do need an air defense vehicle to go with all the armor, Jack.
  16. Welcome to MSW, Alan. If you'll go here: https://modelshipworld.com/topic/17023-quick-find-indexes-to-build-logs-for-kits/ you can download a PDF of all the wood kit builds. You'll find all the Bounty builds, past and current, listed in there. As Jeff said, start a build log.
  17. Welcome to MSW. The easiest way to find other models of the Vic is go here: https://modelshipworld.com/topic/17023-quick-find-indexes-to-build-logs-for-kits/ and click on the plastic/resin kit builds. It will download a file of all the plastic/resin kits and HMS Victory is in there.
  18. I'd say jump in also. The MK kits are well thought out. Also, open a build log as it's a great way to get help.
  19. The French did the same thing but differently. They used a thick plank for the wale and then tapered the planks down from there. See attached, The wale is at the bottom of the chainplates.
  20. It got my curiosity up.. Goggled "Dr. Brodum" "botanical syrup" 1800 . The good doctor wasn't a doctor and his name wasn't Brodun but Issachar Bear Cohen. Some of the ingredients he used would get probably 20 years in prison.
