One of member used resin rivets on his model. This resulted I looked into the items and various scale. The rivets are 3d so they have surface. They are focusing majorly on R/R but can certainly be adapted for our purpose. You can find their products @ Archer Fine Transfers, Decals, Surface Details and Dry Transfers for model builders (archertransfers.com)

GBmodeler, I just finished reading through your build log, very interesting model you choose. I am curious why this type specially, but then looking at your username my guess you are from Great Britain, please correct me if I am wrong. We are many builder in MSW from Washington state. And as a former Spokanite (www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/Spokanite Spokanite definition is - a native or resident of Spokane, Washington.) , it's great to see more of us in here.

Daniel, first I like to extend a warm welcome to MSW. And secondly saying your are doing a great job. Just make sure the bulkheads are faired properly, in the last picture it looks that you can remove more from bulkheads A8 aft-wards. You can also add more material if needed between the bulkheads if needed. This create stability and more bonding area for the planking.

Effie, To answer 1: There is something called "ARTR" (Almost Ready To Run) "RC boat" use that as for a search. You will see there are many boats that comes with very little assembly, all you need to add is a radio/receiver and battery pack. To answer 2: Take a look at our sponsors on the main page, Bluejacket Inc have some kits that may interest you. Again, you are not providing us with much information of what you like to do.

Hi Effie and welcome to MSW. Some questions: Sailing or motorized version? If sailing, do you want to compete? If so, see amya.org. You will also find a lot of useful links even if to compete. If motorized, is it just for fun or do you want to build scale model with details? Krick is one well known manufacturer. I would suggest you write down the criteria you want with your RC. Use internet and do some research, you will be amazed how much there's to choose from. Many of us are into RC and you will find a lot of help once established your direction of type. Don't get me wrong but your original question is like going to a car dealer and saying I like to buy a car.

Pictures in wrong order
Nirvana replied to Tomasz B's topic in How to use the MSW forum - **NO MODELING CONTENT**
Tomas, I use Edge browser exclusively (don't even have any other browser installed) and I have never had any issues with uploading pictures. I do my editing with ACDsee, and saving edited pictures in a separate folder not together with original. -
New spar-tapering tool from Bridge City Tools!

Beautiful tools, but I saw they are made in China. Wonder how the planes are versus Lee Valley micro planes? -
Dutch yacht by henry x - RESTORATION
Nirvana replied to henry x's topic in - Build logs for subjects built 1501 - 1750
Gentlemen, after reading through this topic I ask some of you to tone down. Henry X has found an interesting ship, he like to restore it and asking for support and help. I am talking from my point of view but also as a moderator, He has my 100% support and like to see encouragement instead of detergent language. We have all been in a dire situation taking on a challenge. I like to see what he can do with this Dutch Yacht - kit or not! -
Hi Kloppie, Welcome to our MSW. Please re-type your post in English so we can help out - English is the language at this site. If you have bought the kit Endeavour we have build logs to help you. Start a build log yourself with pictures as this will help when questions will occur.

Dan, that's starting to look like a half hull. Nice job.

As discussed in previous postings the question has been what material to use for glass pane. I looked into the super-thin glass, I am curious how they will hold up for transport with USPS or UPS? Then the sheets were rather large and not so cheap either. However, next to on the work bench I had an old billing envelope with that address window, and I thought to myself..... "hmm, maybe that can be used for the pane I am looking for?!" Sure enough, it's clear enough to reveal detail underneath. So, yes that became my window pane. Works great with CA as well.

Desalgu, This kit shouldn't give you any issues as you already built one longboat already, which was a kit in the kit of Syren. I loved this kit, even with it's intraget details involved. I have Syren started and now waiting on the shelf. Looking forward of your build log.
