  1. Dave, Your deck furniture is looking so much better than mine, I might reconsider my idea of creating them.
  2. I figured out how to do this, hopefully the video clip will work at your end too. Did a test prior uploading, and it worked on my side.
  3. When it comes to paint, I use satin finish. That's both on walls and ceiling. And I would have done just like Hank, use what I have. Paint ain't cheap. In my workshop, one gallon of primer/paint cost 24 dollars. That was the cheapest they had.
  4. Rob, I have a fantastic photo of her. Very beautiful brig!
  5. Not really on this day, but the battleship USS Nevada was found last Monday, May 11 2020. She is laying at a depth of 15400 feet. Click the link and it will take you to the article.
  6. Belaying pins in place. Have to change the format of the video, so it's playable. Coming soon. Update with video. Belaying pins.mp4
  7. @rexnuktiaor may I call you Rex? Anyway, a warm welcome to MSW, I have never build any Master Korabel but found your build log intriguing. That is small yawl. If this is your first wood model kit you are doing great. Personally I would have never started with such a small model. Looking forward to follow your log.

  9. Seven years has passed since the video release. Interesting announcement.
  10. The 18th century longboat is a great choice, delicate in size but so much fun to build. The Medway from Chuck directly is another choice. I have to many to build so that one is out of the question for me.
  11. JC, another Washingtonian welcomes you to a fantastic site. Here there is no wrong questions, you will get answers and support/help whenever you get stuck. Build log will surely help for you and us. Hope you have a splendid nice day.
  12. I will definitely follow this build. Please start!!!😄
  13. From PNW a Warm Welcome in these uncertain times. Having a hobby will keep one from insanity. Glad you got back to it.
  14. With a proper setup (photowise) you can fool anyone with these pictures. How did you accomplish ionization on the exhaust system? That looks so real.
  15. I just love the detailing to this motorcycle. The dent in the tank to the turn signal that is being held into place with tape. The instrument panel looks so real, is it just a low milage or has the numbers gone one whole turn? If you wouldn't have had any items in the background to relate the scale I would had thought it was a real bike.
  16. I have been looking at this model from Tamiya many times and been considering to get it. I am a Honda rider, 750 Honda Shadow Spirit from 2007. Love the bike so that is one of the reasons of maybe buying this kit. Again, you are an amazing job with the weathering of details. Looking forward to see the final bike. Are you to make the saddle soft?
  17. From the PNW a warm welcome! If you are a musician and have built this models with your own critical eyes, I know your models will pass. Glad to see you on board and looking forward to your build log of Lady Nelson.
  18. Hank, I guess you are just like me anxious to get work shop ready to create some dust again.' Looking good!
  19. Stu, a warm welcome from Washington, USA. I think many of us has various model experiences before we found this website. Sorry to hear about the covid-19 separation between you and your wife. I have watched many videos regarding rc ship combat. It looks fun, but seems costly at the same time.
  20. For people interested in the "gas" engine. https://www.driveonwood.com/library/gengas/
  21. Just amazing! I like the aging very much. Are you compete with that model?
