Sjors,

I see you are feeling better, that can be a real bugger to get over. But once again I can no longer keep up with your build log.....sigh.... ;) Far more important that you are feeling well again, and able to travel! enjoy your get together and the museum.

Hi Lawrence,

Welcome to the world of Le Mirage,

We had really a great time in England.

And the museum was the top.

We are feeling like kids in a candy store !

So much models of all kind of ships.

To bad that we can not see them all.

But that's almost impossible because there are in big sliding lockers.

I think we need a month to see all those ships….

Thanks for the nice words on the ratlines.

I have not counting them yet.

Still a few to go !  :D

@ Popeye,

Not one but three to go on the lower part.

The foremast want also ratlines.

But I still have to order chains and deadeyes.

I hope I can do that at the end of the month.

When the port side have there ratlines I'm gonna make the futtock staves and then up…..

Another challenge.

@ Thanks Augie,

Are you counting those ratlines for me?

Or have I to do it myself….. :(

And yes here we are again...

A little update !

The lower part of the mizzen mast have there ratlines…...

I have ordered yesterday the chains and deadeyes that I need for the fore mast.

So when they are here I can go further on the fore mast.

For now it is puzzling how the rope goes around the fore mast to the main mast.

It goes around it with blocks somewhere in the middle…..

This is a nice thing to do when it is a rainy saturday  :)

Thanks Randy and Augie,

@ Augie,

I'm now struggling with the fore stay……..

I have rope that I have to use that is 2 mm of thickness….

And somewhere it has to be together.

I think when that's finished, you can have your laugh !

I'll do my best on it but man, that's difficult !

It goes around the foremast and will end at a block.

I wish I had seen that before I put all the masts and bowsprit together.

Now I have to do it when everything is in place.

that's how I'm doing the Goth, Sjors........I tied on some of the blocks needed,  but I didn't get them all.  I do notice you haven't done the fore stays, main stays,  and mizzen stays.......I hope you don't have too much trouble,  now that the shrouds are in the way.  the lower main and mizzen stays require hearts.......I found them easier to do before the shrouds......the only reasomn I mention this ;)
