Thank you for nice word, but my mess is well documented here. It is deep digged in log, but just remember deep surgery on fore and aft deck, then on main deck, then on stern .... something to be shamed, and to notice me what will happen if I forgot to use gray mass in my head

Nenad,

We all make our messes and then clean them up the best we can.   Your Cutty is looking grand and to my eyes, you've cleaned up the messes very well.  So well, I wouldn't call them messes anymore.

believe me Nenad........when you have the deck fitted out,  the structures in place and masted,  any inconsistency is going to seem very small.   I've followed your log for some time now,  and to see how you arrived to where you are now......it's nothing short of amazing!  the detail you....{and Bob as well} have put into your build......I've not seen it in any shelf version of kits.   the effort you've put into her so far really shows.........you have my respect,  good sir!  I look forward in seeing more!

Attorney strike still lasts ... government and all media just ignore fact that no one court in Serbia is wotrking last three months ?????

That government declare europian way of Serbia. On such a way, I do not think so. This is direct one way street to dark middle ages. Is there any brain in heads ???

Ok, go forward with something more interesting ( not little Awwww )

As I wrote earlier, there is difference in position of bolts, scuppers, sheaves in C-plans, present stage and earlier stage before fire, and this situation takes a lot of time to analyze plan, pictures etc etc to try to put everything on place. Considering diferrence, I decided to make mix .

Another tought - outside stairways. It would be very nice detail and challenge, but their position enters more confusing between content of little fittings around them. And next - I plan to spread ALL of Her sails, and in that case I think stairways could not be shown. As I know, no one ship spread sails with lowered stairways.

Does anybody know where was a place to put of Her stairways durinf sailing?

So, my friends, my head after searching positions and identifying all this little beasts, had over 2m in diameter, and if anybody notice that I miss some little part, please let me know

My decision to put a final paint layer after this stage was good one. Drilling this little holes is pretty dirty, and all putty under black color come out from holes. Tomorrow next side, and then a lot of thinking about next step: fore and aft ornaments, bowsprit, boomkins, or ....

Hello, Nenad;

Impressive work on the Star of India!  It looks great, and I may have to imitate your work...

Cute kitty... Cats have always been my favorite pets, but I have birds now;  and curious cats can wreak havoc upon ship models... :o

Best wishes,

I gave up from idea to make letters, they are so small, as my skill, so, get paintbrush in hands ( the thinest I have) and practice.

When working, I used only "tags" of acrylic, having no idea how much fast it dry on such a miniature paint job. Painting this little piece lasts almost two hours !?!?

Hey Nenad great job on the star of India, it's a keeper.  Also as a coincident, my father was born on the 22 of November in 1898  in a small town near Amsterdam, the Netherlands.  A great ship and (to me) a great man born on the same day.

Keep up the great work my friend.
