There definately is something calming about working with wood (most of the time that is).

Hi David, Frank and Jim,

Yes i'm happy that I can do something.

It's only painting time.

All the gun port lids, samson posts and a few other stuff.

So no pictures yet…...

When everything is finished, pictures will coming…in about a few days I hope!

A little update again with pictures!

Gun port lids are painted so now I can bring the hinges on….

The samson post are filed all 26 and painted.

The railings are done and I can now put the furniture on to the deck…..

But that's for later this week.

I'm laughing again  :D  :D  :D

It's good when after the problems with the Mirage, some things are going as I want to.

Robbyn,

I hope that I can show you today some more progress.

I have to start working at 16.00 hours.

So before that I can do a little building…...

As promised a few pictures.

That's the last for todays building.

Now I go to please some passengers…..

The bell is in place and the drawing was saying I have to attach them straight to the holder.

I don't like that so I put a little rope on it with a longer piece with at the end a bead.

My first scratch build  :D  :D  :D  :D

Also the railings are in place and varnish them.

All the stairs are in place and glued.

Tomorrow there is an other change to do something….

Like making holes on to the gratings for my canon balls……( If Anja don't hide them again ) and put the chess pieces in place and all the other furniture.

Maybe not all tomorrow but I hope by the end of this week everything is in place.

I'll keep you posted.

I wish you a beautiful and quit sunday.

Sjors, your progress is looking great. About the chess-board though... you may want to make it a little smaller so it's in scale. LOL.

Thanks,

Patrick

Nice progress there Sjors - looking good. Don't bother with the cannon ball stowage though, you just know that Anja isn't going to let you have any cannon balls!
