Some we used chemical patina, others were allowed to patina naturally. One thing I learned, fingerprints show up when you least expect them and in the most difficult place to remove. It might be an idea to give her a good cleaning when your done and try not to touch the copper with your bare hands after. Just a thought. It removes those fingerprints. And now she can get's het patina look....... But that is about to change. I have read numerous logs regarding the model and all seem to mention that the plans are in accurate in areas and that the instruction book isn't as detailed as it could be? I was wondering if these snags have been improved in the recently issued model kits? I am from Liverpool a maritime city and the sea is in my blood.....but I joined the Army (no regrets). But that is about to change. I have read numerous logs regarding the model and all seem to mention that the plans are in accurate in areas and that the instruction book isn't as detailed as it could be? I was wondering if these snags have been improved in the recently issued model kits? I am from Liverpool a maritime city and the sea is in my blood.....but I joined the Army (no regrets).
