My advice to my friends: where ever you are, be prepared to make it/survive on your own for at least a month. Longer if possible. If you assume it’s an automatic that the government or some random NGA is going to come to your aid, you may be sadly mistaken.

Yeah I am sitting on 2/3 months of patriot supply then what we have in the house Craig along with about 20 empty gallon jugs ATTM still not enough of those.I need to re-stock on fuel been using it before it goes south.I am the hound dog on the porch one eye open.<_<

Thanks OC. Enamel paint has its own unique qualities. Some of the top model car builders I have known use it exclusively on their model car finishes. The downside is the lengthy cure time. If handled too soon, the finish be spoiled. The upside is, no need for clear coats for that glossy finish. It can be polished after sufficient curing to remove any minor surface imperfections and achieve that mirror finish look.

Wow, looks so cool in yellow and the use of enamels is very interesting, especially, as there are no decals involved, which would have called for a clear coat.

Cheers Rob

There are varying points of view on clear coats over decals. Some of the top car modelers use no clear coats at all while others do. In judging at contests, it doesn’t seem to matter one way or the other. I prefer clear coat over decals when I can.

Wow, CDW.  Those "older" cars had so much class and beauty to them compared to the "modern" ones.

Thanks Rob. I did not realize how hard the MFH kits can be to find. Their marketing scheme is very limited production. I am given to understand this particular kit production run was just two kits! There is no telling when additional kits will be produced, if ever. When you find something you like you have to get it then or do without.

I did realize that, my Cobra Coupe as well as the Ferrari 250 TRI are long gone now. The Williams FW16, I bought was ordered on the firs day of the pre order timeframe luckily. The kit never made it to the normal selling page.
Yesterday I received this beauty, which was up as a re-release on the MFH page for one day last month and I missed it. Luckily SpotModel had one left.

Can't wait to see how you turn this into another jewel, Craig. These car kits are so neat. They beat the daylights out of the old AMT and MPC kits from the 60s.
