    Gary, I thought it was you that told a story in your Last Dollar build about building a railcar and weathering it? You took it to a show and an old guy dressed you down about the weathering and told you maybe some someday you'd learn how to properly build a model. Something like that or close to it. From the story I thought you built railroad stuff. If this wasn't/isn't your story I deem myself ready for professional help and five o'clock med cups with tiny umbrellas.

    Keith, sorry to be late to the party. On the box artwork the channels look ridiculously low, almost at the waterline, I hope that's not the case. You must have a airbrush, the paint looks great.

    The compass was illuminated, if what the arrow is pointing to is not a lamp, then where is the lamp?

    Eric, the pilot house turned out great considering. If the curved portion is supposed to be roofed, were it I, I'd use card for the roofing material.

    The compass had to be illuminated, if that's not the lamp then where is the lamp? Yes, if in fact that is the lamp then it's low but then the compass itself is low which I don't understand the reasoning behind as compasses/binnacles were normally close to eye level.     Johann, I believe it to be a lamp.

    Pat, every mast component image I've seen shows the caps 90 degrees to the mast and that's the way I made mine. I can't point you to anything definitive, sorry. Hoping you find the answer you need.
