    Back is hurtung less. Worked from home, which saved me the drive by car. Primed the hull ... unfortunately I can go back to the workbench, and pull some finer grained sandpaper from the stack. That'll have to wait till next week though.

    MAybe for a next time. I put only epoxy on the inside. To much of a hassel to use the fibers, besides used that on the outside

    "There are still tripple stacked foldable boats" now that will be interesting!!! Will you make them tripple stacked in the mould, or stack them after you made them ...

    Luckily a short sprint to catch up. I had to darken the planks on my Dolphyn build, and used stain based on alcohol (no didn't drink it) which is more transparent and shows the structure of the wood. The thin sliver of deck might be better off with that, as paints will most certainly cover the wooden look ...

    I am missing the Mary Rose..... Greg, you should be able to solve that problem, not so certain about the OCD though, that is a modeller's syndrom. I bet you say that to yourself each time you buy new tools, or a new kit for that matter ... (I do !)

    Well there is a HUGHE difference ... Not so much plywood on the hull in my version, just the hull above, and on the decks ... I had to plank the entire hull. If you install the bow thruster, you should do it before you close the hull. Take care you install it so you still can reach it to attach the electric motor!!!

    Like Sjors, I have built this boat. The drawings look quite different, not surprisingly though, I built her over 30 yrs ago. I will look forward to see your endeavours take form !!
