  1. It's the small things in life that make the difference Mr Bunny Hope your back got to it's sturdy self again!! Thanks for the thumbs up Sam
  2. Back is hurtung less. Worked from home, which saved me the drive by car. Primed the hull ... unfortunately I can go back to the workbench, and pull some finer grained sandpaper from the stack. That'll have to wait till next week though.
  3. Looking very good, Jesse. I like those stanchions very much!!! You deck is becoming a real ship's deck now you are adding the furniture. It's great to see your progress. Keep it up!! Cheers
  4. Nice trompet ensamble! I know what you are going through Mr Bunny. You are still going fast, even if you feel it isn't. Those pom-poms look very spiffy. Wonderful!
  5. If you put me on a rack, you are going to stretch me right so predictable Rattlin' on Sam ... try a grey-ish backdrop, piece of cloth, durty duster, cardboard, ... I like your porcupine ratlines
  6. That is some wonderfull detailed work you display. Very impressive Siggi
  7. Hughe in details, despite it's size!!! Marvelous work Igor. I am enjoying your build tremendously
  8. Nearly missed the fun!!! Glad I've not yet shrunk a lot, I can still look over Vivian's head to follow your deft fingers and see something wonderous being created Cheers mate
  9. Small steps are good, keeps you mind busy too. Hope there is something which can be done to help you out!!
  10. MAybe for a next time. I put only epoxy on the inside. To much of a hassel to use the fibers, besides used that on the outside
  11. "There are still tripple stacked foldable boats" now that will be interesting!!! Will you make them tripple stacked in the mould, or stack them after you made them ...
  12. Luckily a short sprint to catch up. I had to darken the planks on my Dolphyn build, and used stain based on alcohol (no didn't drink it) which is more transparent and shows the structure of the wood. The thin sliver of deck might be better off with that, as paints will most certainly cover the wooden look ...
  13. Congratulations on the job!! Great to see yo back Rexy. Very nice work on the hull, it looks like the end result, beautiflul. Hmmm, I see you have a similar taste for lubricant when working in dusty surroundings
  14. Another item of the build tackled Great job Jesse, what's up next my friend!
  15. I am missing the Mary Rose..... Greg, you should be able to solve that problem, not so certain about the OCD though, that is a modeller's syndrom. I bet you say that to yourself each time you buy new tools, or a new kit for that matter ... (I do !)
  16. Well there is a HUGHE difference ... Not so much plywood on the hull in my version, just the hull above, and on the decks ... I had to plank the entire hull. If you install the bow thruster, you should do it before you close the hull. Take care you install it so you still can reach it to attach the electric motor!!!
  17. Like Sjors, I have built this boat. The drawings look quite different, not surprisingly though, I built her over 30 yrs ago. I will look forward to see your endeavours take form !!
  18. You are right, it fell back to the worst state ... Your ratlines, however, look rather promising!!!
  19. Muito bem, obrigado! So you took a headstart on yourself, as we say. Although, wood is a more practical building material when it comes to redos, I would advise contrary to your high speed building Looking forward to your updates Ciao
