  1. Thanks Denis. Pat, If he does, I'll have one for you too Could go simultaneously Greg, Finding WiFi is not the point, getting entrance to the network is a lot harder. Luckily I'm back home now. unfortunately, I've been working my hiney off to get a major software release finished ... not much building or spraying
  2. Thought you'd drowned on her maiden trip!!! Good to see her finished. Like the case, shows her off nicely CHeers
  3. Pat! Back from Canada? Stockholm was much more. Besides, I had a tremendous good guide on Saterday afternoon and Sunday. Mike showed me a lot of pearls, and I can't wait to go back to do some further exploring!!! Back has improved a lot. Hardly feel it anymore. Maybe walking through Stockholm did the trick, if so I'll get my physician to write me a recurring prescription to go there
  4. As Denis wrote, Jesse. After painting them, the belaying pins won't show if they are made of wood or brass. Considering the quantity of rope for the rigging, they will be hardly visible ( size wise too)
  5. Clare Glad it is to your liking. I had a hard time putting it aside to go to work, or bed. I've got Douglas Brooks' book which I enjoyed reading a lot, it doesn't surprise me he knows Azby. There is something appealing about the old ways they still practise their trades in Nippon.
  6. Patrick, Had to do some catching up. I like the pict where you hold her in front of the light. Nice progress on the interior too. Cheers
  7. As Ken said. Have been off the air. Just got back ... pfff sore feet and shins, and a mind full of images Pictures of Musashi ... first need to get rid of my nagging employer. Even a long weekendoff seems to much to them!!!
  8. It's the small things in life that make the difference Mr Bunny Hope your back got to it's sturdy self again!! Thanks for the thumbs up Sam
  9. Back is hurtung less. Worked from home, which saved me the drive by car. Primed the hull ... unfortunately I can go back to the workbench, and pull some finer grained sandpaper from the stack. That'll have to wait till next week though.
  10. Looking very good, Jesse. I like those stanchions very much!!! You deck is becoming a real ship's deck now you are adding the furniture. It's great to see your progress. Keep it up!! Cheers
  11. Nice trompet ensamble! I know what you are going through Mr Bunny. You are still going fast, even if you feel it isn't. Those pom-poms look very spiffy. Wonderful!
  12. If you put me on a rack, you are going to stretch me right so predictable Rattlin' on Sam ... try a grey-ish backdrop, piece of cloth, durty duster, cardboard, ... I like your porcupine ratlines
  13. That is some wonderfull detailed work you display. Very impressive Siggi
  14. Hughe in details, despite it's size!!! Marvelous work Igor. I am enjoying your build tremendously
  15. Nearly missed the fun!!! Glad I've not yet shrunk a lot, I can still look over Vivian's head to follow your deft fingers and see something wonderous being created Cheers mate
  16. Small steps are good, keeps you mind busy too. Hope there is something which can be done to help you out!!
  17. MAybe for a next time. I put only epoxy on the inside. To much of a hassel to use the fibers, besides used that on the outside
  18. "There are still tripple stacked foldable boats" now that will be interesting!!! Will you make them tripple stacked in the mould, or stack them after you made them ...
  19. Luckily a short sprint to catch up. I had to darken the planks on my Dolphyn build, and used stain based on alcohol (no didn't drink it) which is more transparent and shows the structure of the wood. The thin sliver of deck might be better off with that, as paints will most certainly cover the wooden look ...
  20. Congratulations on the job!! Great to see yo back Rexy. Very nice work on the hull, it looks like the end result, beautiflul. Hmmm, I see you have a similar taste for lubricant when working in dusty surroundings
