  1. I always feel sorry for Sam, but that's because he tends to create a new redo on his build, about every other post he does ... now it is NSAA (Not So Anonymous Alcoholics) for Sam, which, by the way, goes for me too ... I could say I'm a NKA (notoriously known alcoholic) ROFLMAO - as my good friend Jack would say Have fun planking! Cheers skinny thing
  2. Nice result Jack. My spies informed me you were "done" with it
  3. You are a wee bit late my drunken sailor friend, with your excellet advice. Kitty Cat, you should get "source" (src) to regularly visit your build log and timely advise you
  4. Ken, It's his private magician, and the other his bodyguard
  5. Jo, what a relief ... Steve, the best is yet to come, big bronze props ( I know, I will hardly be able to discern them from the rest of the build myself)
  6. Sheila is in the house!!! With the expected result Jo, as you see, just ask me kindly (Robin Hood, version with Kevin Costner)
  7. I very much enjoyed the voyage, Ed. I don't see myself following in your footsteps, though you were an excellent teacher, and quick with your responses to questions. A very beautiful build, and as druxey wrote, a marathon feat in rigging. I myself am still very much taken by your smithcraft. Thanks for sharing
  8. I wanted to give you a standing ovation, but that will have to be postponed since you are not quite ready ... nevertheless ... a very beautiful set of galleys
  9. I always find them small parts a pain to glue, the sticky stuff always seems to be to generously applied no matter what you do ... nice progress, Jack
  10. Thanks, mate. I'm glad I decided to buy them afterall. Just another interesting details
  11. Go for it Mark. Liven things up a bit on deck and you get some colour in your build too Great going Jack ... not much PE on the Fletcher, camouflage came out rather well ... giving us the silent treatment right ... we'll have to watch out for you ... sen in spies to check upon your builds
  12. Thanks for the likes, and positive comments Mark, she does ... very observant as it is hard to spot ... must have taken a hit or bumped into something piercing her hull ...I'll have the command issued, but you know, it may be to darn late mate
  13. Got me glue from the UK, rigged the tub, but forgot to take a picture, added some depthcharge launchies (3D print). Tomorrow I need to laquer the hull with mat varnish, add the propellors, and that should be about it ... Cheers girls and boys
  14. And then there are the Sampson post, and the beam and truss arrangement ... Bates p 28 - 29 ... it seems you have some more delving to do
  15. ... work for tiny wages? If so where can I get one
  16. Yes, looks really thrown together the hull.Strange that when I start to throw things together they usually look something like this
  17. Yes, he even added popcorn Mark Scale .. now that would be summink like 1/5000 I guessss
  18. But lads, it is not up to me to make such a weighty decision, I am just the messenger. I am still waiting on the Apprenticeship confirmation for myself, so Steve is already in the fast lane
  19.
