  1. Ian, That looks pretty darn good for having been though the Intergalactic Wars. A seriously nice job so far.
  2. Ron, I had forgotten what a beautiful job you were doing on her. Thanks for re-posting the summary.
  3. Kevin, Good to see you re-posting. How's the work on the house coming? Able to get some build time in?
  4. Popeye, Looking good, sir. Sherry, Looking forward to seeing you on the darkside.
  5. Hi David, Great to see you re-posting this and carrying on with the build here. I'm looking forward to it.
  6. Bones, We'll all help if we can but we'll need info.. Start by showing us where you are and how you got there. Pictures, text.... Look over some of the other build logs to see how it's done.
  7. Nicely done, and nicely displayed. Thanks for sharing it.
  8. Lovely.. I like the stoppers on the anchor cables. A very nice detail.
  9. As always, Alex, just amazing clean and beautiful work.
  10. Elia, I'm with everyone else. Great to see you and Arethusa back.
  11. Lovely work on the masts, Remco. You're picking up details that I think most of us never thought of.
  12. Hi Cabrapente, I too am happy to see your build coming back. Very nice work on her.
  13. Gary, Take a look here: http://modelshipworld.com/index.php?/topic/540-how-to-add-pictures-in-your-posts/ This might help with the pictures and getting things sorted out.
  14. Paul, This build still boggles my mind.... I've watched this on MSW and seen the parts being made and still have a hard time believing it's paper/card.
  15. I like the string tied battens. No glue to remove.
  16. Holy Batstuff... Incredible. Fantastic. Super. And they're good too... The downside is, everyone of us on the "darkside" now know it can be done and how to do it. Intense pressure.... intense.
  17. Ron, There's nothing to be gentle about... Your keel looks excellent.
  18. You're right.. my bad.. I'll go turn myself in for appropriate flogging. <sigh> Been a looonnngggg weekend.
  19. Tom, Take a look here: http://modelshipworld.com/index.php?/topic/516-relief-mouldings/
  20. Bob, Be sure to test with some scrap wood and that paper before finishing. There are some finishes that will cause a Sharpie to bleed.
  21. Good to see you back and feeling better, Mario. Take your time.
  22. Steve, Have a look at the Articles.. particularly this one: http://modelshipworldforum.com/resources/Rigging_and_Sails/ScaleSails.pdf
