  1. Hi Bob Absolutely brilliant! I love the lady sailing her; that's a nice touch. The sails and rigging are also so realistic, that you'd expect her to go sailing right by you. Nice job! Cheers Patrick
  2. Welcome back, Dimitris! Great to hear from you and I'm glad to hear that all's well. Thanks for measuring the boats. Cheers Patrick
  3. Hi Mike Thanks....errr electric, I think! Trust me, I was really trying to think how to make a working one for the foresail, but promptly gave up. Too hard, I muttered...many times...! Cheers and I hope you'll soon be setting off on Maria for another nice day of sailing today. Cheers Patrick
  4. Hi Cathead Great photos, especially of the large scaled Bertrand with a 'certain someone' in the foreground. It looks like you had a great trip. The photo of the wreck site was interesting and kinda sobering to think that wreck still lies beneath the waves. Thanks for sharing the photos! Cheers and all the best! Patrick
  5. Hi Bob, Kevin, Mark and Carl and everyone who hit the Like button Many thanks for your compliments and comments! They're all greatly appreciated. Cog-3D printing seems the way of the future now. However, 3D Printing is really beyond my capabilities...I can't even manage 1D printing as my printer is kaput! Thanks and all the best Patrick
  6. Hi Jesse The deck looks great, despite the collateral damage to the bulwarks. Hopefully the patching up won't be too much of a pain! Cheers Patrick
  7. Hi Mauro It may be 'work in progress', but it's damn good progress, that's for sure! Cheers Patrick
  8. Hi everyone Well, in a few photos of the full sized boat, I've noticed a rigid-hulled-inflatable tender tied up alongside. So, I had a go at trying to build one. Here's the result, complete with a teeny tiny outboard motor (albeit a simplified version of one), hanging off its transom. I still need to add a few more details, such as the steering wheel and the rope grab rails hanging off the sides of the hull. I hope you like it! Cheers and thanks Patrick
  9. Hi Denis What's life without a little bingle? Nice save and boy, she's really cracking along! Cheers Patrick
  10. Hi Piet Everything you've done is just marvellous! Tiny in size, but huge in achievement! Nice! Cheers Patrick
  11. Hi BNoah I have to agree with Nils about the level of detail and the overall appearance of your Fram. She's a beauty! Cheers Patrick
  12. Seeing as it's a working model, I would be inclined to serve them all. Saves wear and tear and hopefully work in the long run. My opinion, only, of course.
  13. Hi Carlos Really beautiful work so far. I'm enjoying watching your progress unfold. All the best! Patrick
  14. Hi Mike Nice job on the milling process. Those day lights are nice and precise, which was exactly the result you were looking for. Well done! Cheers Patrick
  15. Hi Nenad AAhh! Ok, many thanks for explaining that, Nenad. I had often wondered about that, but it makes sense now. Thanks and all the best! Cheers Patrick
  16. Hi Igor I love that photo of Lena between your fingers. Wow. It really emphasises just how teeny tiny she is. Nicely done! Cheers Patrick
  17. Hi Nenad Totally off topic, but I have always wanted to ask you this - what does "Tehnonidikata" actually mean? Sorry for the silly question... Cheers Patrick
