You have got some really constructive work going on there Phil, the first set of ringing "the Stays" are always the most time consuming as they dictate the strength of the masts and propper alignment, I discovered that with my Pearl kit. OC.

Looking smart - really nice work. OC. -
Hoping to be back on this soon - In the mean time - the five KGL Light have been chilling out on the table, having a kick around with a footy ball, playing some catch with miniture tennis balls, playing hide and seek with the paint pots - but worse of all they have been swearing in German - I have had to tell them to pipe it down, can't have bad language like that - only I'm allowed to swear when things go wrong, so they are behaving again now for a bit.😄 I chased up the light the admiral had brought me (ok its only cheap) but it should have been here by the 29th Dec, thier shop in Ebay put a banner up saying they were closed till the New Year, bad service promising to deliver then not. OC.

About the NRG
If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.
The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
