  5. You did so well to remove those screen marks - she really is starting to look Superb - well worth all the effort and so much honour and respect to all the First Attenders, Hats Off to all who did thier service in these. OC.
  6. Looking Good Kevin - Im still on the lookout my friend................😉😉😉 OC.
  7. I did an experiment (by accident) to test the different hardness of the different vallejo products - in my mixing saucer I use (its a plastic plant one pinched from the garden) anyway after a couple of days I clean it using hot water under the tap and a wire scourer - I found that the vallejo primer really resisitant to clean off and the same with Black and Grey, the Reds and Blues and Brass and Alum colours are more easily removed - so that tells me after a couple of days the primer does need that time to fully harden but when it does its solid same with the Black / Grey. Well thats my science bit out the way. OC.
  8. He is still in hospital being kept in while they access what daily help they can provide when he goes home - thats a good thing - still depends if he wants the help and if he will start ignoring his door again. OC.
  9. Yep I thought of that from day one brother - before doing anything else I thinned the bases they are moulded to, down till they are just thick enough to support them - See "great minds think alike"😉 OC.
  10. And enjoy the trip............. OC.
  11. Yep I always wanted to build it as a Permanent Dio and not a wargaming set up - hence why Im cutting them off thier bases when I am ready to fix then down with super glue and possibly pins into thier feet, just need to work out the muddy areas. OC.
  12. I could do with doing the road last I guess so I could push some of the figures into it a bit - I think (Just guessing here and probably not the way to do it) OC.
  13. Do you find you need to give the Vallejo primer a good few days to harden before putting paint layers ontop? I find if it hasn't had enough time its still soft and scrape off with a finger nail. OC.
  14. Another interesting aspect - I will be taking the bases off the figures so they will be on thier feet, would be good if I could show them slightly bogged down as the ground had been sodden from heavy rain so thier feet would have been partially covered in the soft grounds I would have thought? OC.
  15. My dad used to tell me that test pilots of MB bang seats back then in the Meteor used to grow a few inches then shrink the same amount during firing and coming down in the chute, how true that is Im not too shure - but interesting anyway. OC.
  16. Certainly going to be uncharted territory for me never done anything like this before. OC.
  17. Tamiya surface primer give me good results - just needs spraying out doors though. OC.
