I'm so glad I tuned into this log.  Thanks for making my day Igor.  Will be following to the conclusion.  I can't wait to see how you build the carcass if the dorad.

Thank you Captain Al!

I am sorry, but I do not quite understand what it means the phrase "the carcass if the dorad". :(

Sorry for the typos Igor and for not being clear.  I was referring to the end of the story where the Old Man brings in the sword fish and there is nothing left of it but its carcass, or bare bones.  I thought the word for swordfish in Spanish was a "dorad."  So I'm wondering if you will take the story to the conclusion in your diorama.

Marvellous work, Igor.

I can see exactly what you're trying to achieve by the placement of the fish and the Old Man, ie a picture paints a thousand words.

Nicely done, as always.

Cheers

Patrick

Hi Patrick!

Hi Captain Al!

Thank you for your clarification, I now understand. :)

I'm going to show other scene here, which was a little earler.

Hemingway wrote about this episode so:

He was a very big Make shark built to swim as fast as the fastest fish in the sea and everything about him was beautiful except his jaws.

His back was as blue as a sword fish’s and his belly was silver and his hide was smooth and handsome. He was built as a sword fish...

When the old man saw him coming he knew that this was a shark that had no fear at all and would do exactly what he wished. He prepared the harpoon and made the rope fast while he watched the shark come on. The rope was short as it lacked what he had cut away to lash the fish.

The shark closed fast astern and when he hit the fish the old man saw his mouth open and his strange eyes...

And the next small update here: one of boxes for fishing lines, several coils of fishing lines, the bottle for water, one more patch on the sail :)

Just amazing, Igor.   Your ships in a bottle are detailed but this is going beyond detailed.  I'm,just fascinated by it.

Just caught up with your new bottle build Igor.  I have been much too busy with house and yard work leaving me very little time for MSW.

What a great idea and what great work you have done so far.
