The family tires me out.   I cant sit at the beach doing nothing for hours.  So today i stayed behind to relax on the deck looking out over the ocean.  While writing of course.

Yesterday I walked 8 miles on a cliff walk  along the mansions of Newport.  Im tired. Plus I have to do

the grilling for when they get back from baking on the beach for hours.  Not fun for me.  Relaxing on deck while sipping a pint is much more relaxing.

Those are a portion of my kids and their pack well ahead of me yesterday with even more of them really far ahead out of camera range.

I remember taking that cliff walk Chuck. Pretty awesome views. I then retired to my yacht and sailed off to Cannes.

Chapter Eleven is amazing! Your chain link, molded channel edge and swivel gun solutions are very innovative. A simple solution I found to deal with the entry way step edges is to cut the molding at the appropriate 45 degree angle. The cut off pieces will have the same angle and they are glued to the step to create a perfect molded edge. Easier than filing.

Enjoy the rest of your vacation with, and hiding from, your family.

Glad you are enjoying your down time. The cliff walk is great. I used to live a block from the "Breakers" in what used to be the carriage house for it. It is a very impressive house. Hope you got to tour it.

That sounds like a great trip, Chuck.  I love Newport.  My grandparents met there in 1942, when my grandpa was stationed there in the navy.  They were married in Trinity Church.  I took my family there in 2009.  Did you go to the museum at Navy War College?  It’s got some excellent paintings and at least a few models.  Have fun painting happy clouds!
