Looking good, Sjors.  I think Frank's got it... "when in the Netherlands, do as Sjors does".   Just don't turn the Fonz upside down to rig her, ok?

Thanks Sam, Frank and Mark,

Thanks guy's !

@ Sam,

I was looking for paint but I couldn't find any....

Then I realised that you are meaning the filler.

Early in the morning  :D  :D  :D

@ Frank,

I didn't know that you are a guy with sayings.....

But I love the line ....do as Sjors does  :D  :D  :D  :D  :D  :D

A lot of people are not agree with you !

@ Mark,

The only time when the Fonz goes upside down is when she wants become a Flying Fonz..... :P

I almost needs a ladder to work at the top......

So to avoid the upside down methode, I put her on the floor.

Now I have to be careful not to step on her.

I have a question and I hope that someone can answer that for me.

Mobbsie was saying that I started with the shrouds at the wrong side of the masts.

I have to make the first shroud that goes in front of the mast and then work back.

Why ?????

I don't change it anymore because all the lower shrouds are done and will get started at the ratlines......

Just curious......

It's also the order in which they go over the masthead Sjors, with the forward ones being the lowest (having gone on first). We'd probably let you get away with it, but I'm sure Mobbsie will invite himself over and rip them off if you don't do it right! ;)

Hey, I only posted the question, I think Grants trying to get me into trouble here, don't take any notice of him Sjors, I'm sure it will look fine. :D  :D :D  :D  :D  :D

I would take notice of the nice people like me.

Sjors, I joined. :)  :)

Toys arrived this morning, I haven't opened the box yet as I still have some work to do in the loft, but soon.

Ratlines are done !!!!!!!!!!!!  :D  :D  :D

For a while at least.....

The next ratlines will be on the Aggy.

The topgallant shrouds and lower shrouds are also done.

I also make the Mizzen stay, Main stay and preventer stay, Fore stay and preventer stay.

I want to do the crowsfeet next but Saturday , the Fonz goes on the road for a modelmeeting.

So next week I will make a start at those crowsfeets....3 times.

I hope it will work because it's gonna be the first time that I'll make those things.

We will see how it goes.

Hi Sjors

Did you only use admirality paints for this ship?

It's all coming nice together. Are you going to put sails on the ship or not?

Nick

Congratulations on finishing the ratlines Sjors - a significant milestone indeed.

Thank you all  :D  :D

@ Patrick,

We will see how that goes on the way.

And crows feet is not the correct name ?

But the rat's are not happy with them, maybe I can use a scarecrow then ( or called them that way ? )

@ Popeye,

I wish I had that kind of faith in myself what you have  :P  :P

But I'll do my best on them !

@ Jason,

I never count them but there are a lot of those ratlines....and even so knots !

But I liked it to do them.

There are no catharpins on the Fonz.

At least, I can not find them on the drawings....( lucky me  :D  :D )

@ Nick,

Yes, there are only admiralty paint on it.

And yes, she's gonna have ( I try ) furled sails .

@ Augie,

Thank you  :D

I shall be careful when I put her in the car......

When we get home again ,I still want her in one piece !

@ Grant,

Also thanks,

I happy that the ratlines are done for a while.

The only thing was that when I go higher and higher I can not sit on the chair anymore.....

I think when I'm doing this at the Aggy, I put her on the floor !

@ Sherry,

Thank you also  :D
