The mast and arrays are spectacular. That sets a standard to aim at.

Nice you were able to make the ANZAC service.

I was able to make the Veterans Day service at Arlington Cemetery a number of years ago and along with visiting the Vietnam wall was possibly the most emotional event I think I have ever attended.

Very nice progress on the Sydney I think I would be lost at this point with all of the sub assemblies.

You shouldn't put yourself down so much, you wouldn't finish with a half built ship. When I look at how many ships RGL has done so far ... and I admit, he has a feel for it too! Still it would be really weird if he'd stop now ...

I used the rub on decals for the flight deck. Did not work, completely stripped it back and re painted it. The issue is I have flight deck decals but they are one big piece so surgery will be required. I’ve used safety warnings rings from Atlantic models for the de k markings

I am not normally a huge fan of most modern warships but for some reason I have always liked the Oliver Hazard Perry class class of FFGs. Possibly it is the bow, or possibly that many of them, (including the Sydney) were built right here close to my home and over the years I have seen a lot of them.

Very nice work as always Greg. MUCH NICER than the Revell or Monogram FFG I built as a kid.

Hi Greg, nice work, your Sydney looks great.  If I may be permitted one suggestion: the Mk92 dome appears too shiny compared to the weather hull?  (May be a trick of the photography though?).

cheers
