Augie, I keep catching myself coming back to your site to admire your pictures and excellent work.  Very, very inspiring, and I hope I can achieve something close to the excellence of your build.

Have a sfogliatelli for me, in celebration!  And thank you kindly.

Oh, it's a good idea and I'll surely buy them: it's a long time I haven't been having them and this is the proper occasion. There's a pastry just beneath my house, I only hope my wife won't argue with me about the purchase.... the diet is diet, and my admiral can't resist in front of them.  Meanwhile, I share with you those delicious (although virtual) cakes. With a glass of prosecco wine, obviously !!!

Cheers

Alex

Alex-

Grazia Dei!

The REAL thing folks.  Haven't had a good one since Monteleone's bakery back in Brooklyn (circa 1958).

Thanks for sharing!!!!

Personally, I've been just sitting back waiting for ROBBYN to forge ahead and take the lead in all categories.  But she does seem to be slacking lately.  Ok, ok... she does have school to prepare for, a vacation coming up and ------oh yeah------ a wedding :D .  But I'd hate to see her blindsided by we-all-know-who.  Has anyone else noticed that his combined total for his unrigged fleet is becoming astronomical?

Just sayin'

Both will be rigged !

Adam,

I think marmots are a kind of moose things…... :D  :D  :D  :D

A little smaller maybe.

I don't know it rather because I'm not from the USA  ;)

Rocky Mountain to New England translations:

Coors- A beer brewed in Golden, Colorado from Rocky Mountain spring water. In my humble opinion, not as drinkable as other Colorado beers like Fat Tire and Single Track.

post-218-0-92625600-1375211153_thumb.jpg

Marmot - A Rocky Mountain rodent similar to a groundhog. These are cute fellas that live at high altitudes and don't really bother anyone like the lower altitude groundhogs/woodchucks do.

(Back around page 21 of this build log, the talk strayed to cooking and eating groundhogs after Punxatawney Phil messed up the early spring prediction.)
