I am a big fan of classic motor yachts, especially the Trumpy line. Michael, the watch is a Swiss Watch that I own....another expensive hobby of mine. This particular watch is one of my favourites because it was a surprise gift from my wife a few years back. It's an Omega Seamaster Regatta chronograph which, as a professional diver's watch, is fully water resistant to 300 m, or 900 feet underwater....not that I even take it in the bath tub! Outstanding work as usual! This will inspire me to get back to my build. I've been tied up with work and the wife's parents have health issues we're dealing with. She was tiny, but great fun to build. I'm also happy that you can learn some tips and tricks from her build (as I do from yourself and others on MSW). I enjoy miniature modeling...it is nearly as difficult as building the larger scales. Your example is superb. Reminds me of a commission I received so very long ago to build a full hull and half model(both around 6") of tis little steam launch called the Puffin. I still have the hull molds and several half model hulls. Several years ago I enquired about them models and it appears they have been placed in storage.
