    Why did they move this in 2 pieces? Was this due to overall weight and pulling capacity of these tow vehicles? Other guns moved as one,unit, didn't they?

    Very nice addition to your outdoor kitchen. The wood is beautiful. The Italians call that a pergola. Will nice sitting out under this on a summer night. 👍

    Very well done, Gary. I like the tires in this kill. I have several Sylvan fire truck kits and the have rubber tires with plenty of flash to remove. I like the Gallery Glass idea. Have to look them up to enhance my vehicles.

    Very nice job on rusting the roof. The saw shed looks great. A mini primer on stages of rust. Your rust pigments are spot on. The lightest is the most "fresh" rust, say bare metal a few days after a rain. The rust darkens over time through the middle shade and old rusty items get the dark reddish shade you used. If you have any railway lines near you, look at the unused and lightly used rail heads for the beginning stages of rust. All the rails are darkly rusted on the web of the rail. That's the part supporting the rail head.

    Some fishing line may work. 10 pound test line is small, but I think there are finer line. And they may come in black. Try the fly-fishing products.

    Alan, looking good. I think your current primer will be fine. A modicum if cleanup then fire away with the figure painting. 👍

    The Bf 110s adopted that tactic, too. Forced the Luftwaffe to tie the 109s as close escorts.

    Andy, I'm in. These Airfix 2.0 kits are a quantum leap over the earlier ones. Shipman: Possibly unescorted Stukas. Or early in the Blitz with the night bomber raids. This second item was what they were designed for. They just were inadequate for daytime use.

    I like Tamiya Fine Gray primer; seems to stick better to the PE. Comes in a rattle can and goes on nice and thin. Tamiya has a Gray primer in rattle cans, too, but it's a little thicker. I believe it's a leveling primer to fill in some oopsies.

    Harry, this keeps getting better and better. Rigging looks great and the aircraft turned out nicely. Sorry I can't help with your flag question.

    Nicely done with the saw table and power hookup.. These facilities were fairly intricate, despite being located in out of the way places. This build is turning out superbly. 👍

    Andy, your Hurri is coming along nicely. They definitely were the workhorses of the early stages of the war. And glad to read you're recovering well. 👍

    Excellent work with all the PE, Rob. The PE you've installed so far really improves the looks of the old girl. 👍

    Bob, Tru-Color used Acetone as a thinner. I tried out a rattle can of their paint on a bare styrene kit I've been working on. Not thinking, I sprayed and the old plastic looked like it was orange peel. The newer Evergreen did not. I had read that Tru-Color needed to go over primed resin, but I'd say prime any plastics also. I love the color ranges; they've added naval colors to their railroad, aircraft and armor lines

    Toni, yes I was asking about the Birchwood Casey. I had used a 50/50 mix but the black could be rubbed off. Thank you.
