Excellent, this is a beautiful ship and you are doing an excellent job with her. I have the book with all the plans, I bought it some years back from England not sure of the name of the company I got it from but other people here have gotten books from there (I am bad with names) Some folks have gotten the 4 book set of the 74 gun ships from there, I also have the first 2 books of that also, a PDF of the third (yes I know that isn't legal). The company has great books in different languages. they are a good company to do business with. Keep the post and pictures coming. And Thank you very much for sharing this build with us here on MSW. -

Glad to see that you back working on this ship again. It's looking very nice. I have been away for awhile because of the surgery and also my main computer is down right now, haven't gotten around to working on it because of the knee but figure in a day or two I should have it back up and running again, and then I can catch up on what I have been missing.

I now have everything except the scraper which I doubt I will order since something like that I make my self for the work at hand. I just got the chisels yesterday, the planes I have gotten from Lee Valley some time back and they work just as good as the day I got them. Like any tool you take care of them and keep them sharp they will do what you got them for, and yes they do look cool.

About the NRG
If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.
The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
