    Frank, I think that Augie is right. The measurement of the ship model is from the end of the bowsprit till stern...... I have check it with the San Ildefonso. I wish I didn't......now I know how big she is..... And the Aggy is bigger ! HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hi Denis, For some strange reason I missed your log But I have found it again !!!!!! You are doing a great job on the SOS! Your rigging looks fabulous and those ratlines ? You hate them or you love them ! But you are ( almost ) finished. So be proud of what you have done ! I will follow you further now till the end !!!!!!

    Thanks Guy's @ Mobbsie, You have now one friend loss........ I think I can stay at home and Anja is going to that meeting.... @ Wayne, I'm 3 days off then so no bus !!!!!!!! And I always knows how I can make myself happy @ Sam, I think your model looks also great !!!!!! I will teach you the klompen dance when the time is there

    Hi Frank, Found you !!!!! Someone turns the sign the other way around so i was searching at the wrong direction.... But I see Mark walking in ,so I follow him ! And what do I read ???? No popcorn ??????? Not possible ! here it comes...... Enjoy your build and we will follow you with what you are doing !

    Rich, In the beginning I used a shiny varnish but now I'm using a dull varnish..... It makes a little darker then it is but protects the wood. The only thing is when you are doing it now, be sure when you have to glue an other part on it, remove a little varnish.

    Thanks Frank ! I hope not that they are doing what I'm doing...... All the shrouds are starting at the wrong way but.....when they are doing it that way, I have it right @ Popeye, I have a small car.....look it up at Google....It is a Ford Fiesta Ghia . @ Augie, Be for sure i use that word Pfffffff when it goes wrong, and a few other words !!!!!!

    Piet, Amazing what you are doing ! When you are ready with the canon, you can shoot real grenades ??????? And will you also put that sign on it ? It is forbidden to climb up the canon ??

    Thank you all @ Patrick, We will see how that goes on the way. And crows feet is not the correct name ? But the rat's are not happy with them, maybe I can use a scarecrow then ( or called them that way ? ) @ Popeye, I wish I had that kind of faith in myself what you have But I'll do my best on them ! @ Jason, I never count them but there are a lot of those ratlines....and even so knots ! But I liked it to do them. There are no catharpins on the Fonz. At least, I can not find them on the drawings....( lucky me ) @ Nick, Yes, there are only admiralty paint on it. And yes, she's gonna have ( I try ) furled sails . @ Augie, Thank you I shall be careful when I put her in the car...... When we get home again ,I still want her in one piece ! @ Grant, Also thanks, I happy that the ratlines are done for a while. The only thing was that when I go higher and higher I can not sit on the chair anymore..... I think when I'm doing this at the Aggy, I put her on the floor ! @ Sherry, Thank you also

    No worries Nick, I've been coming to England in June for two weeks to stay with Mobbsie and his Admiral and I don't have hostile intentions ! Only friendship !!!!!!! A little late ,but congrats to you and the Admiral of the birth of your daughter ! A Kings couple....boy and girl. Enjoy them, they are old before you know it

    Ratlines are done !!!!!!!!!!!! For a while at least..... The next ratlines will be on the Aggy. The topgallant shrouds and lower shrouds are also done. I also make the Mizzen stay, Main stay and preventer stay, Fore stay and preventer stay. I want to do the crowsfeet next but Saturday , the Fonz goes on the road for a modelmeeting. So next week I will make a start at those crowsfeets....3 times. I hope it will work because it's gonna be the first time that I'll make those things. We will see how it goes.
