  2. Welcome to msw good luck and enjoy yourself here
  3. Good evening everyone this cabin i think is called the chicken coup, no idea why, and i dont think chicken are involved i still have to purchase some smaller portholes to finish it off and paint it the fwd house has had to be scratched, as it kind of exploded, after several attempts to salvage it i gave up and made a new one, not brilliant but looks ok apart from the mast, these deck fittings will now be used
  4. welcome your hardest part is not starting each kit without completing the previous one lol
  5. Good evening everyone the the after house is completed with the exception of the aldis lamp front (lost for now) lots to do but some of the work will be delayed whilst i replace some of the lost/used bits, annoying but my fault
  6. Good morning OC she is such a busy ship, but very little in the kit is of use and lol the bits i do want have been used on other builds this is what i am aiming for NOT MY PHOTO
  7. Good evening everyone well the balcony is completed, i was going to do the stern railings next, But i dont have aby stanchions, i used them on the 1/72 Fife Dam
  8. Good evening everyone all the pin rails throughout the kit are wrong so i have attempted to adapt the supplied ones, my ordered paint arrived todat, so was able to move on with the stern,, this has now been panelled im struggling tonight getting the balcony panels to fit, - yes i mixed them up in error (schoolboy error) the instructions didnt do anything to help the situation, although im not blaming them
  9. need 27 sails please lol for my Amerigo lovely work, they do look good i used silkspan for the Dorade, lots of lesson learnt for the Amerigo
  10. welcome to MSW, good luck with your build
  11. good afternoon everyone i will have to rethink the belaying pin racks, the kit provides for 7 pins on all masts this needs to be at least 13, so i will have to go back a scratch my head please let me know if you are getting bored of my updates, i love to show the ups and downs of my builds, but im happy to cut down to once a week if it is desired not my photo the balcony work continues
  12. Good evening everyone Thank you for likes and comments i have started pinning parts in place, nothing will be fixed until i have put the right colour green in the upper banding prop is now fitted, and the stern decoration is in place, to get this to fit i sanded the reverse side, it was a lot easier to get into the right shape after taking 2mm off tonight first test fit of the veranda, in the first build, this was miles out, this time nothing has been filed to get a fit everything is pinned but not secured im waiting for some strips to arrive to put under the green banding, that will hide the over painting need to look at that gap, not seen it before
  13. very nice, the detail looks fantastic lol wonder how many i would have in my fleet now if i stuck to 1/350, and not the larger scale builds
  14. good afternoon everyone photo of the AV on top of the wheelie bin, i no longer want to just open the lid and drop her in it. the lockers still need some form of covering at the front, wip
  15. possibly with a dowel through the deck from the carriage
  16. Thank you Dennis im actually enjoying it this time, at present i am scratching the lockers that caused me to abandon the build 10 years ago, on building these i realised that the side entry access hatches were in the wrong place, although they were kind of corrected, i lost heart, and bought the Victory thank you also for the likes, its nice to be posting a lot more again, hope you and family are well,
  17. very nice, i found card much harder than wood to get a decent result, hence to non progress of the SD14
