Ed Hi, EdT, my milling machine has a variable speed engine from 5000 to 22000 rpm, I use pear wood, generally for hardwoods such as pear and boxwood, the speed may be even lower, for softwoods, the speed must be maximum mtaylor, Seahawk1313, Seventynet and 1 other 4
