Very professional build, I admire your work! -
One beautiful creation, do you plan on future production or are you going to keep the production to just this first batch. Yes I would love to build one but money is an issue, so for now I will just have to be satisfied with following along with your build log. Keep up the fantastic work. Thank you.

Nice start! Always interested in tug builds, especially yard tugs as I spent 4 years on one in the mid 60s.

Wow! What a project. Interesting how you are putting it all together. Is this intended to be a fully pla ked model? I know you talked about frames earlier if I remember.

How many kits do you have on the go at the moment?
the learner replied to CaptnBirdseye's topic in Wood ship model kits
Well I have 8 models sitting in drydock in various stages of completion, half are kits and others are scratch and two are waiting on the decision to mast and rig or not! To me it doesn't matter if your a scratch builder or a kit builder as it takes a certain amount of time and effort to build both and have well represented models, so you all keep up the good work! And remember it does not have to be perfect and correct, it just needs to satisfy you the builder. -
Wow fantastic job on the detailing, you are the expert!

About the NRG
If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.
The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
