  1. hi paul, just discovered your build log - very impressed - and having just completed the diana am about to start on the caldercraft victory. question about the stern fascia. you built the entire piece on your work table and then glued it onto the stern? thanks, mort
  2. hi, when I built my snake - about 4 1/2 years ago i moistened the middle of the deck and gently and carefully with the aid of my plank bender was able to fold the false deck and slip into place. others have cut the deck in half and glued in both halves. hope this helps, mort
  3. check siren ship models site. they sell monograms. used them on my Diana. worked out very well. mort

  9. hi david, i used a 1mm drill bit. made lots of holes and then used mini files to finish the job. took time but in the end i felt it was worth it. your deck is great. thank you for sharing the deck jigs. all the best mort

  12. from what I remember - it was over 2 years ago - I mostly followed the plans with Peterson at my side the entire way. I probably made the lifts per the illustration but I don't recall, the model is at my sister in laws house. mort
