I have already finished the white one, a lot of layers were needed for the dark wood. But the result is beyond my expectations..💥
Another question, on the German plan from the book "Risse von Schiffen des 16./17. Jahrhunderts " and on my Czech adaptation, is a different shape of geometric shapes. But the Czech one has a simpler square one, so I'll probably use it..😇

Thanks for the like..
Due to the need for dyeing and the need to create all the parts that will be dyed, I started making Knee of the head. I studied the construction of Knee of the head, it is nicely covered in the Czech thread by Doris Obručová for its construction Sovereign of the Seas ..

A study of Dutch ships, I found that the grate of the deck drawn from the folded slats is from a later time, historically more faithful is the grate of longitudinal planks, as in the plan of the Pinas Vitsen by Ab Hoving.

Great work Ondras
Thank you very much Backer, it's a compliment from you..🧐
Machined vertical beams glued to the supporting part ..
The front pillars, where the head will be carved, gave the most work..
I also have beams ready for the first carving test..
As a basis for the head, I used a drawing from Derfflinger's plan, RL is unusable..
Test whether pattex adhesive sticks to the waxed surface - OK!
Simple beams glued. Pins and wax are waiting..

My headaches trying to use Blenders guide for block rigging.
Have been strugelling with block knots. Found great instructions on site but never got them to work. So decided to try with bigger dimenson to find out whats the problem. So somehow with thicker rooe it came out great. Made more and more examples all good. Then went back to original rigging and disaster again. Was so desparate-WHY IT DOES NOT WORK....?
Then thought ok i have cord from my Terror build, lets try with that. Again, come out nicely. Started looking more into CC rooe and realized that it does not slide at all. I tried siezing with normal knots and again it was so tight.
Summary: cant use CC rope for attatcking blocks to yards or eyelts as it does not slide at all. Maybe im just imcompitent but pile of used tread on table showed that i didnt give up easily. So now i have nirmal sewing tread that i used for Terror and got from my father. Outcome is there. Covered brushed with dillutated pva and soon i can try if it loosens or not.
I'm glad I can help while I can. I am sending a link to the work of the Czech modeller Vladimír Mareš to your work on the blocks, I used the same method. I can recommend..

Hi,
To be honest i dont understand what you mean by pulley function. Regarding knots i meant how to do them so they look good:)
In my opinion, you have the pulley turned, the hole must be at the yard. I prefer to use pulleys with an imitation of a wheel that is inside, ie with two holes.
I just want to keep you from repairing in time. Ondras

Hello. I keep my fingers crossed for a good result.
Pay attention to the function of the pulley ..

After pounding my head against the wall with the stern, I'm ready to start cutting planks and getting the hull planked. I've decided to just build the "guts" to take the planking and window and line the inside with blackened wood. Following the plans at this scale meant all the supports and ribbing were so flimsy, they'd break just looking at them.
Very nice building. Place the strut in the stern, remove it after gluing the boards. Good luck!!

So let's order some maple strips this evening.
Thank you Barbossa. Maple strips were overhead ..
I finished the deck planks. I'm just sorry half will be hidden, including hooking..
Next will be grinding ..

Hi Ondras,
Outstanding job on the deck. I understand you used maple strips. Do they allow a clean cut when you need to narrow them?
As I'm looking for alternatives for boxwood but nonetheless good quality.
Hello Barbossa. Maple wood has an ideal hardness, it is well cut and sanded, it holds the edge.💣
