  1. Looking good Mick ... I like that acrylic support/jiggamathing! Give a nice clear view too Cheers
  2. Sorry to hear about Judy, but good to hear she's improving, give her my best wishes. Take care driving though!!! I'm enjoying the build of that skylight tremendously!!! It does look stunning ... the nice thing about an 'end product', people can't see those oops moments, they just see that marvelous build ...
  3. It's a miracle you've got it finished in such a short time, with all the side builds, restorations a.o. Turned out magnificent!!! Cheers
  4. It seems I can't ltake a leave of absence here ... you've finished again ... to faast for me Johann, and a fabulous side build she is too Cheers
  5. Nice solution, Remco. Jan, you could use a staining gel for stained glass
  6. Wow, I had some serious catching up to do. I've been reading through my lunch break, which now has become a Pilot Cutter break! Great progress again, and such astonishing detail, not as usual, for it is unsually good! ... yes they do don't they ... which flaws were you refering to? Cheers,
  7. Don't loose your way - or for that matter your models ... - looks rather spacious, Wayne ... but a pain to paint the top ... wish you strength when moving!! A bit far to lend a hand though
  8. I've been rather busy lately - still am - you've been taking hughe steps JesseLee. She does look pretty darn good!!!
  9. Practice makes perfect ... It seems you go faster with this one, and it looks real sharp ...
  10. Cees, Have a look at Brian's log http://modelshipworld.com/index.php/topic/10768-half-moon-by-probablynot-corel-scale-150-wood/page-8#entry351332
  11. Mark, Looking good, whichever try it is. Charmed or not, you're up to a good start with it, which, to me, is the best motivator!!
  12. Dick, Stumbled upon a few pictures from another member here: http://modelshipworld.com/index.php/topic/2461-amazing-photographs/page-260#entry352400 maybe interesting as well. Build looks stunning for something with that little good reference material. Cheers,
  13. Mobbsie, Very nice work on the mortar. I'll stick to enjoying your and Grant's build ... safer and so far I know my construction limits. I just might pose an idea ... couldn't you use a mould for the guns ... something more (or less) like this ... You would be able to turn the same shape multiple times ...
  14. Though Jan and Greg have a good point, I like your approach Bob!!! So how many are you planning on making, Cees???
  15. Mike, That really looks fabulous ... I'm afraid I'm going to steal your idea ... ssssht, don't tell Cheers
  16. Mark, Nice job on the carving. You could cut out the letters and glue them on another piece of wood if you wanted more height and better access to the crannies and nooks in the letters ... looking at the result, you hardley need the height ... it stands out pretty well on it's own!!! There we need a sharpening steel Druxey ... a common kitchen utensil ! Comes in mighty handy in modelbuilding ... Which means ... trial and error ... toss the ones which are ruined after sharpening and buy a new one ... which is sharp like a rasor on arrival, and doesn't need sharpening (saves a lot of time sharpening too! ) Cheers
  17. The more you got to the exterior the more you had me wondering how on earth you were going to 'clamp' those last deck planks ... Eventhough you are building at scale, the ease you progress does not show it. Marvelous ...
  18. Stunning, Siggi. Marvelous job on the wheels and the spokes, can't wait for the handles!!!
  19. Håkan, Awful how life tends to interfere in major projects ... hope you're stable ... I've started on a Japanese kit and they made double planks ... shaped to take the expected curvature, which makes it sturdy enough Cheers
