Hi David, Maybe you feel a little bit better when I tell you that this is happened to me also when I try to put the bulwark on to my Corsiar……. I just glued the crack and hold it together with a clamp. Then sanding and filling because you still have your planking that goes over it. But Robbyn makes also a good point. You have to see what works out for you.

Hi Robbyn, It seems you have read my build log of the Mirage…. Great decision! It's better to store her before you are doing things that you regret later I know that there is a virus of multiple builds but also a virus of shrouds that not goes as we want to ? Can we make a agreement? You finish later on the SF and I finish later on the Mirage? Deal? And when both are finished we will be proud of our self…….

Wow, I wish that everybody always agree with me when I do something…... But thanks Lady's an Gentleman. I have now a good feeling about it that I let her for a while on the shelf. Even now she is looking angry to me when the San Ildefonso is now on the workbench….. @ Mark, Is it ok when I do both? Driving that bus and work on another build? @ Popeye, You can always say thing that make me smile When I read your words correctly I need more builds……. So Anja, give me that Aggy!…please, please, please? @ Sherry, When the time is there I'm gonna go further on the Le Mirage…. Suddenly you see a update on her when the shrouds and lanyards are in place….. @ Adrieke, You are right, Maybe someday comes that klick….and then I know what to do! Robbyn, It was the meaning to finished all those shrouds and lanyards before you get home. A little birthday present, but it will come later. I'm not the only one who gives you things later @ Grant, Thank you for calling me smart! I didn't know I was…... And you are so right, I do things to not make those ratlines! Sorry for you, but the scalpel is on the workbench but for the San Ildefonso only! Le Mirage is high on a shelf getting dust.

Thanks guy's, @ Mobbsie, I ask Anja about the cotton balls and see hide them also…... She is saying when I used a lot of them, something is gonna be damaged! And because there are more builds in that room ,she don't want to break something from an build. Frank, We have talk about it on Skype. I think that this is the best. @ Andy, You are right….. I've never see a flying Dutchman but I almost see a flying Frenchman….. I wise decision from me to store her for a while. And then that "emphasis" , I 'm not building till thursday because we may go back at work tomorrow…. Yes, holidays are over Back to the normal routine….. So please you keep posting those " emphasis" then I have to see something when I got home for work.

Thanks Augie, From the beginning she don't like me….. She is now standing on a shelf where I can see her and give her bad names! I make a few ships but nothing like this. She will finished somewhere in the future! Maybe when I'm 80 years old or something like that. I was always wondering why builders let there build alone for so long….now I know why! So let's go to the San Ildefonso. Mobbsie…..I want the AGGY!!!!!!!! now……..

About the NRG
If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.
The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
