You have done it again Robbyn, You make my day pictures! It looks great!. Not every build has to be historically right if you can put your own things in it. That makes building fun. When you go to the dark side I think I will …….not follow you I shall be looking but that's all!

Again thank you all! @ Mark, I just call you from now on……Moderator builder or builder Moderator, what ever you like! @ Bummer Eric, No worries, I don't call you honey!……….honey @ Andy, I think it's gonna be the cat….. @ Jim, I'm proud ( at the moment) I try a few blocks to place on to the masts but that is not easy at all! Those drawings from Corel are a pain in the……. They give me the clue….glue 2 blocks on an rope into a hole of 1 mm…but the rope is 1 mm I have a few eyebolts left over and I glued them into the hole Now I have to see how I fit the blocks on it. The fairytale goes further later next week.

Again thanks, thanks and thank you Hi Børge, You enjoy the rigging when I started? I thought you give me a hand…... Every thing alright with you? I'm gonna take a look to see how many yards I have….I have 7 of those….. We will see where it ends! I have not count how many eyebolts and blocks are on it. I let you know….. Thanks Robbyn, Also a WOW factor. You make me happy I'm glad that that is done. Now to the other tiny stuff….. Mobbsie, thanks!

No Wayne, you have it wrong. I shall tell it you one more time…. Pigeons for the rigging. Rats for the lines between the shrouds. Elves for the trains ( I hope that they are not jumping) Andy's for the journeys Augie's for the shuffling snow. Mark's for the Moderators police. Sjorsen for the cotton canon balls Wayne's for it makes no sense anymore…..

Thank you, thank you , thank you! Yes Sherry, I saw a few eggs in the nest so maybe it's crowd upstairs in a few weeks …... And your welcome about the pictures. You know…I love pictures! He Popeye, When one goes then the others goes quicker….. Practicing makes experience….. You make the picture bigger that you can see that all the gun port lids are not at the same hight? Thank you Wayne for the WOW factor So first the shrouds, then the running rigging and at last the ratlines….. Thank you John Andy, I have to look carefully on the drawings where everything goes…... Every time when I take a look, I see more of those things….. First the shrouds then the running rigging. No, first all the blocks and eyebolts to the masts and bowsprit. Then the shrouds and then the running rigging and then………yippie, ratlines! In a few weeks there will be an update
-
Thanks Grant, Almost……. Can we open a new topic for the rigging crew? Just to help each other and give some support?
-
And the a question, I'm gonna make the blocks on the masts and bowsprit and place them. Then I gonna make the yards (spars) and placed them to on the masts. And then……first running rigging or the shrouds for the ratlines or do nothing…... Make my day friends

Jim, I have to correct you…. There is not a build log yet from the Spirit of Mississippi from OcCre. The only one who is on this forum is in the Gallery of completed ships…..and that is mine. The others are the King of Mississippi from AL.

About the NRG
If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.
The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
