  3. Michael, Two questions spring to mind following your last set of pictures. 1. How are you going to get this baby to and from the lake? 2. Where are you going to fing vertyical space to fit the topmast? John
  4. Quick to make; simple; it works. What more could you ask of a jig, Russ? John

  6. Man, that was a sad day!! John
  7. Well, you certainly were on the right track - nice job! John
  8. Nice to see another non-string model on the site - I'll be following with interest. Was it usual for tugs in your part of the world to have left handed propellers? John
  9. Just catching up with what you're doing, Russ. She's looking good, mate! John
  10. Nico, she just looks more beautiful with each set of photos! John
  11. Mobbsie, yes, I see a slight dip there, and there really shouldn't be. Do you want to try evening it out with filler before you get on to the second planking, or does it just look worse in the photos, as is often the case! John
  12. Bruce, Whatever else you do with regard to rigging sequence, leave the braces until last. As they run outside everything else they'll really get in the way. John
  13. Bruce, I've found that leaving the ratlines until later doesn't restrict access in practice as I find I reach most of my belaying points from the opposite side anyway. John
  14. Just catching up with what you're doing - beautiful; absolutely beautiful! John
  15. Hello Robert, and a warm welcome to the forum from 'Down Under'. That's a very nice looking hull you have there. I'm looking forward to seeing your future updates. John
  16. Yeah, Tom, the photo looks likes it's made like a simple garden bench. I think you're on the right track. John
  17. John, I haven't followed his technique, but it's in the back of my mind for a future model. John
  18. Well, why not, Michael - you've gone this far! John
