Hi Nils,

Hope all goes well with the scans and treatment so you are soon back to 100%. Take care of yourself.

Build is of course looking fantastic as so many have already said.  Those longer shots show her off beautifully as all the details come together.

Cheers,

Nigel.

Nils,

Sorry to hear about the neck, and attachements ... it is one thing we may expect ... the modellers RSI ... hope it isn't to serious and you can continue as before ...

Great build, I've been enjoying it tremendously, such skill, and prowess ...

I may have to "step a little slower" in the next days and weeks, because my doc dianostified suspect on cervical disc herniation, currently causing me much pain in  neck shoulder and arm, right down to the hand. I have an appointment for MRT examination and will the know more then, meantime wil be having therapeutical massages, and swallowing much "Aspirines"

Nils

Hi Nils

Sorry to hear that! My mom had same problems for years, so I know about the pain it does! I hope the massages will help, even medical bathes CAN be good for that. Get well soon.....

Gerhard

Hi Nils

I'm sorry to hear about your health problems. As you must avoid lifting heavy loads it will indeed be difficult to work on your iron behemoth. Another reason to get well soon.

Gute Besserung!

What a beauty, Nils!  Every photo is more stunning than the last.

Sorry about that herniated disk -- several friends of mine (including my wife) have gone through the agony, but have found the resolution to be complete and relatively easy.

Best wishes!

G'day Nils

My admiral and I will keep you in our prayers. There's nothing worse than the constant pain from the nerve. It's not only the pain, but the weakness in your limbs. I've had this for 20 years and you do learn to live with it, but you have to spend less time on the things we love to do!

Many thanks for your compliment Rob,

and also for dropping in again......,

as there is no proven build plan available, many of these metal parts are created so, as to fit and suit the idea I have in mind and the scale, and very often there was a last change / improvement shortly before the part is made.

The foremost part of the promenade deck for example shall get an extrance integrated into the railing which leads over an access- gangway to the forecastle railing.

So sorry hearing about your current physical condition and wish yo all the best in your healing process.  Fortunately you have good medical doctors in Germany who can fix you up.

Get well soon, the ship will wait patiently for you, the shipwright, to return dockside.

Cheers,

Piet, The Flying Dutchman.

Thank you very much for your well appreciated compliments......,

Steve, Mark, Bob, Gerhard, Patrick and Piet,

and all the " likes "

I`m glad this fitting out detail is liked. Next to the cargo winches there are still two winches on the boats deck of which I do`nt really know how and what function they are for (as mentioned some posts back...), will leave those for later on...hoping to come across and find a solutionto that some day
