Ratlines port side foremast done….

Now only the starboard side to do  :D  :D  :D  :D

The last picture you see the Le Mirage, Smit Rotterdam ( tug boat ) and the Spirit of Mississippi ( paddle steamer )

I have also make the gammoning and the fore stay.

I know that the foremast is now ( I think ) a little bit to far to the back.

I hope I can change that otherwise I let it this way.

PICTURES!!!!!!

And Ferit? I have fix the gap  :D  :D  :D  :D  :D

Lovely lovely job Sjors

I think she looks really great

Certainly a slightly different style of ship

That bowspritty thing at the front is very unusual to me

Certainly very well put together

Congratulations

Anyway, come on Sjors

The front seat at the Will Everard will soon be full and we need the popcorn and beer   :piratetongueor4:

Very nice work Sjors, excellent fix on the gap too, don't worry about the foremast's backward rake my friend, adding the rest of the forestays usually evens out the backward pull of the shrouds and back stays and should pull the masts a bit more forward ;)

Aldo

And there we go again  :D

Thank you all for the nice comment !

@ Mick,

That bowsprit thing is also new for me.

I even have to place shrouds and ratlines on it…..

But that's for the end !

I have take a look at you Will Everard and the popcorn machine is in place.

@ Lawrence,

Thanks  :D

Only foremast ratlines and then up...

Yippie, more ratlines !

@ Randy,

Also thanks !

@ Aldo,

Thanks again  :D

I'm glad that you like the " fix " :D

I hope that I can take the foremast a little up...

If not….don't look at it in the front then  ;)

@ Popeye,

You have also a good eye.

You are using that magnifier thing ?  :D  :D  :D

Yes, the gammoning is also in place.

Mobbsie told me that I have to do it first before I put the forestay on.

Otherwise the bowsprit is flying around…..

@ Augie,

Don't talk about that bowsprit please…..

I still don't know how to put the lower deadeyes on to it….

But that's for later.

@ John,

No rats allowed in the hobby room but I don't use spiders.

Augie is keeping them for him self.

I use rigging gnomes…...

@ Patrick,

Thank you ver much  :D  :D  :D

Thanks Robbyn and Sam,

@ Robbyn,

I'm far away from the finish line.

I have to do the shroud and ratlines on the middle masts and on the main mast the 3 th level.

Then the bowsprit has shrouds and ratlines.

Then I have to make the spars and then all the running rigging…….

So it still takes a few months…..

So here it is.

My 3000 post !

I have to be honest, Mark has already more then 3000…….

All the credits goes to him !

But this is not only a post for the 3000.

The ratlines of the lower part of the masts are finished.

Tomorrow I can start with making the deadeyes and shrouds for the next part of the masts.

So more ratlines to come  :P

Salute Rear Admiral... Congratulations!... m0112.gif

You had arranged the gap between the ratlines, thank you Sir...  m0161.gif

But one ratline at the top of the mainmast on starboard side seems missing comparing with the port side's...   m0980.gif      Sorry Sir...m0974.gif

You had forgotten to take the photo under candle light as Augie had suggested...

Loving the detail Sjors! I have to ask how did you curve the wood around your crows nests? I have circle crows nests on the Prince as well.
