Gangways and their knees completed, Breasthook installed, Cathead slots were cut and then they were installed and the Transom frames were cut down using the supplied template.

All ready to start making all of the railings.

I would be interested in seeing more details on how you did the FC stanchions and rail, because that looks to me like a complicated process to get the stanchions vertical while accurately cutting the holes in the rail to accept them.

It's what I used on my breastrail columns. It won't remove all of the char, but it does lighten it a lot.

I added some thinned wood colored paint and W-O-P afterwards for a final cleanup.

FC rails and details just being finished up and the belfry and its rail waiting to be installed. Need some square wire to make the spanshackles and chapter 9 is completed.

Chapter 10 will be completed very soon, just the QD cannons, binnacle and ships wheel to be completed.

I acquired some different thin and wedge shaped files from a jewelry making website for my breast rail columns, spent a lot of time on those, more than six.

I feel your pain brother, but the result when you take the time to do it right really shows through!
