Welcome to the build of this unique T34.
This was not a standard conversion but a "in the field conversion" of a German unit.

UM is a company from Ukraine,  these kits have usually good details and are easy to build

Building the chassis. And for the first time problems with a UM kit.

Where is part C47?? And... the fenders are too long

Problems solved (a piece of sprue is a new part C47 and the fenders shortened)

The Germans used EVERYTHING they could lay their hands on off the battlefield.... (but then so did the Russians) The US army was well known for using captured 88's as anti aircraft guns in the place of 90mm's when they had production shortages later in the war.... They had captured over a thousand 88's and a mountain of ammo... They even wrote their own tech and service manuals for them as foreign issue equipment.... (they even had 100's of AA crew prisoners willing to teach)

In total war you make use of everything you can no matter where you get it from....

Bingo!  Spot on.  Things haven't changed much in that regard since the earliest times in history.

Thanks for the nice comments.

Wheels and tracks are in place.

The vinyl tires have one disadvantage. Normally these plastic tracks can be glued with regular plastic glue. Now it is necessary to use CA glue.

Time to finish this build

Added some rust and some bare metal here and there.
Glued the model on a base plate and gave a matt black wash.

Thanks for the comments
But if I look closely at the photos. My painting and weathering skills have become a bit "rusty" after a summer of rigging and sailmaking on my Pelican.

Next model will be better 😇
