  1. What a great job. Really clean and tidy. Great painting skills. All the parts came up great.
  2. The running rigging will surely be attached to either belaying pins or cleats. With Artesania Latina they usually just run the rigging to a eyebolt. Not very accurate in realisim.
  3. Those yellow sails can't be missed on the ocean. The last picture I'm curious, is the stern too close to the dock or is this normal to turn around tightly for these vessels. Almost looks like he's in a bit of trouble.
  4. Wow! That's an awesome job your doing! Well done. It will be good to see this plank to walk.
  5. For measuring around curves I find masking tape works well. Cut length ways in strips of roughly 5mm. You can write on the tape too. My two cents
  6. Yes the angel certainly dose have a gender. Same as the females on my Mamoli. Friesland. Oh dear:/
  7. What a good job on the binnacale. Ship looks great. I almost ordered this kit last weekend. I'll see how you go first. So far so good.
  8. Extremely precious time together. Well done. Grandfather of the year award I think. Ship looks like it's coming along great.
  9. I remember installing theses beams on the friesland. The only one out of my Mamoli ships to have them. But be careful as the hull still is in danger of a little warping.
  10. Oh dear!! Looks like you have rekindled my love for the Endeavor! Love this ship. Always wanted to build her but never have. Half the reason I built my HMS Bounty. You have done a stunning job. Looks neat clean and tidy. Well done.
  11. What about the dust off that material when cutting/ sanding. Is that really harmful?
  12. Wow. A great job on the rigging of your guns. Looks real neat. Good work.
  13. Hey this looks like a nice kit. You did a great job on the hull. What sort of finish are you looking for on the deck planks?
  14. HMS Ovens - Walk through museum, Fremantle, Australia. HMS Onslow -Walk through museum, Sydney, Australia.
  15. I love Mamoli kits. For some reason? You have taken to a great start bud. If your stressing about a cannon coming loose wait until the end of the build and insert the cannon through the gun port at the end. Or if it's the carriage coming loose you worried about then drill a small hole in the bottom of the carriage and insert a piece of wire to hold in securly on the gun deck. Best of luck.
  16. Those are neat little stands you have for your pre installed mast sections. Good work.
  17. Nice work. Lots great, I especially like the painting.
  18. Hey this looks neat. Good craftsmanship. Well done. You did a great job on getting all the charing from the laser off.
