Thanks for the Likes.

 

So the fancy panels went on really well and the friezes that Chuck supplies fitted inside them perfectly.

 

Also I scraped the trim pieces with a home made simple profile.

 

Now for the carvings.

I made 5 of the sweeps and displaying them on the little stands that Chuck supplied.

Here is the QA Barge completed and in her display case.

 

This has been a really fun and fulfilling little build with enough complexity to keep me interested to the end.

Chuck you are to be congratulated on a great kit that will be enjoyed by many people and I may have to have a go at your new longboat when it’s ready.

 

Back to the Pegasus build.

Fantastic model...beautiful! 

 

I noticed that you have built the Medway Longboat also. How would you compare the building process of the Longboat to the Barge? I'm building the Longboat currently and I really like the Yellow Cedar. How was working with cherry by comparison?
