Rigging done, so it’s pretty much complete but for the final touches of the screws, 50cal and choppers.

Its an interesting size comparison between a DDG and the Yamato

About half the size, as far as I can see. What about the fire power ... the "exact" opposite ...

You think the DDG should be smaller ...? Compare door sizes a.o. or the sizes from their respective data sheets ...

I do have to say the lighter shade of grey gives a better contrast for the grunge and weathering than the darker ones, at least in the pictures. You have again made another very realistic build. Well done!

quite the fleet ... any room left for another two? What's the airplane in front of the dreadnaught ... made a nose dive off it's catapult?

Very nicely done!  Amazing how you guys building these plastic models with the PE add-ons don't go cross-eyed in the first hour, let alone after a ship or six.

Greg,

Well done!  I love the weathering. As a tincan sailor of many years, I find the look familiar.

I think all the adjectives have been used up but an outstanding build and informative log.

I may have missed it but what did you use for the rigging. I'm thinking of trying E_Z Line on my Alaska.

Thanks, Harley
