Fantastic looking ship!  You did good on her and make it even better after you fix that little hiccup on the railing.

You and Anja have a very happy holiday and a prosperous and healthy 2015.

Cheers,

call me an old romantic if you like, but I can just image myself standing on the balcony around time of the dog-watches sipping some Madeira whilst watching the wake stream away into the distant sunset.

The cannons for the lower gun deck are painted and on the carriages.

The 10 carriages and cannons in the middle have the eyebolts for the rigging.

The others around it will have no rigging.

They are hiding under the different decks like the upper deck and poop deck and maybe another deck  :P

Next thing to do is place the cannons and then I can start the rigging......of the cannons !

Putting eyebolts in the bulwark and of we go

It's good to practice first at the lower one.

Well done on the teeth, Sjors.   Will the rigging spiders be able to help or is this just a Sjors' task?

Thanks all and also who hit the like button  :D  :D

@ Augie,

The cannons on the lower deck are 18 pounders.

On the upper deck they are 9 pounders....

@ Mark,

I think that the Gnomes are running away...

I have to do it by myself

@ Grant,

Me too !

Now I have to found a good example of how it has to be.

There are so many logs that it is difficult to find what I can need.

@ Nenad,

Thank you  :D  :D  :D

So you are that figure in the back ground....... ;)

@ Aldo,

No worries.

I don't shoot friends.... :D

And thank you

Been watching quietly from the sidelines Sjors, and your "Aggie" is looking mighty nice. Great job on your hull sheathing and the stern decorations------beautiful. Can't wait to see her with all her fire-power in place. Hope you and Anja had a great holiday!

Cheers and Happy New Year!

@ Nigel,

It's for me the first time that I'm rigging the cannons.

Done one breech rope  :D  :D  :D

Sorry, make one end of a rope to a ring that goes on an eyebolt......

Still try to find the mood to do the other things  :D  :D  :D

And a happy new year for you to from me and Anja.

Beside the building......I bought a 5000 pieces puzzle for her from Jan van Haasteren :D  :D  :D

And guess what....it is saying USA !!!!!!!!!

So no building for her but making a puzzle.......

@ George,

I know you are a silence follower so thank you for the comment !

Much appreciated !!!!!

For you also the best wishes for 2015 !

And we head a great time.

We went next door so early in the morning it takes only 1 minute to get home  :D  :D  :D

Only the next morning was a little difficult.

So yesterday no building otherwise I glue a cannon on the bowsprit  :D  :D  :D  :D

@ Sam,

Happy new year for you also !

I hope it will help you with that drawing.

I have search for it and found it so now someone else can have the benefit of it !

It's better that it is on different logs where you can find it easy.

Guns are looking good mate, good luck with rigging them.

Do you have a close up picture of the breach rings or have you still to do them?

Thanks Mobbsie, Nick and Lawrence,

@ Mobbsie,

I have make 2 breech ropes.

At the end of this post you will see a picture of it.

@ Nick,

Thank you  :D  :D

And for you also the best wishes from the two of us !

@ Lawrence,

You have to wait a little longer for the rigged cannons.

I'm just playing with the breech ropes yet.

But thank you !

As I promised to Mobbsie and someone else who is yelling about pictures, I will post two.

It cost me the whole morning to make one breech rope,

I have to figure out what works for me.

I think I found it because the other one takes me about 1/2 hour  :D  :D

The light is not that good , I have to use artificial light.

Still it is in the middle of the day and it's just so grey outside that I need the lights.

But you can see what I have done so far.

The first picture are the two breech ropes, the second one is with her teeth outside the hull !
