Nicely done on the breeching ropes.  You'll get faster since the first ones always take more time.

Thank you all  :D  :D

It goes this fast that I have done 5 of them  :D  :D  :D  :D

And that in 1 hour !

But then ,duty called and I have done nothing yet.

I hope I can do the other 5 this weekend !

Then a picture of it.

I have to count the 2 mm blocks that i have and also the hooks.

If I have not enough, I will only place the breech ropes for the lower gun deck and give it a try at the upper gun deck.

The reason ?

Everything will be covered by the little boats  ( 5 of them )

Aggie's teeth are very menacing! Great work on making them look so menacing too. You only have about a trillion to go now, right?  :D;)

Thanks,

Hi Hartmut,

For you also the best wishes for the new year !

Is that the only reason that you don't build the Vic ?

Now i can play with the blocks and hooks.

As promised yesterday the pictures.

Now I can play with the  2 mm blocks......

When the first one is done I will post another picture of that to see if I'm on the right track.

Enjoy your sunday and do the things that you have to do.

Thanks all  :D  :D

Also the ones who hit the like button.

The whole afternoon I have try to get one block to one hook.......

And it didn't work !

I'm not even get the rope ( 0,25 mm ) true the wholes of the block !

We have try to find a needle but not even that !

All the needles are to thick !!!!!!

So I have make a discision for myself....my cannons on the lower gun deck are not fully rigged !

I only put the breech ropes on.

For the persons who has done it my deepest respect.

Maybe i give it another attempt on the upper gun deck.

These are more visible then the lower deck.

But for now.....this is it.

The shop is closed till next weekend because of work......

Don't give up Sjors, for me at least, it just takes time to figure out what works (which is why I'm so slow :) ).  Believe it was the inventor Edison who said that he didn't have 1000 failures, but he'd successfully figured out 1000 ways that didn't work.  One thing I think I am finding out with my 'Jason' is that the larger more complex builds give you a little bit of practice time to figure this out as its easier to hide early attempts which is a nice luxury (even if its more work!).  Link below is a simple method that worked well for me, not quick, but if I can do it I'm sure you can.

Jason,

Thanks you !!!!!!

I'll give it another try the other weekend !

I was talking to Mobbsie tonight and he was telling me the same.

So next weekend I give it another attempt !

Then there is something else.

Mark has telling me that the breech ropes are on the wrong eyebolts.......

Thanks for telling me that Mark.

So another re-do on the breech ropes......

It's a easy fix for me .

The story continue  :D  :D  :D

Cannons on the lower gun deck are done.

I have only make the blocks on the back not at the side.

You don't see them so for me it's no use to make them.

Also the clever cleats are on.

Now I can place the boat beams and place and planked the upper gun deck.
