    Take the piece of brass and put a flame to it. Then drop it in some water. This will anneal it for you. David B

    Steam makes the plank more pliable. Many shipyards had steam boxes that they used for plank bending. David B

    I had a chance to get them but at the moment I would take years to build a 74 gun model. I would still like to have them but could not justify the price at the time. David B
