Hi friends,

Thanks to all.

Gaetan

I am building just one model at a scale 1:36.

Scale 1:48 was an attempt and originally planned.

Big project Karl!  I think I will pull up a chair, pop open a cold beer, and follow along with the others as you build this 3rd rate.  This should be interesting.  Good luck with this big boy!    Ok, where's the popcorn?  MTaylor,  I hope you're not hogging the bowl again.  ;-)

Hello friends.

The all remaining frames mounted, aligned and bonded.

Now handwork is called for sanding.

Help in this case, belt-sander, long-neck angle grinder

and various sanding blocks.

Karl,

Yes, as always, a beautiful start. Your skills as a builder of plank by plank miniatures of the 1/1s is well - remarkable. I will also enjoy following this newest build.

As a suggestion, so that others whom may not be unaware of your other amazing builds might become so; you might want to add "footers" of your other builds. Just a thought. Your STUNNING Le Bonhomme Richard quickly came to mind

A masterful display of your carpentry skills Karl. On top of all the other adjectives the others have used, I would add "outstanding" work.  And yes I'd love to see your Le Bonhomme Richard as well. :)

Cheers

GEORGE
