You mean to tell me you never saw any girls IRL who looked like the ones on Playboy?

I actually did once. I'll send you a PM with the details.

I had the same question all of the aircraft that came with the Indianapolis and that I bought separately were also clear plastic.

Looking at what was carried by American ships and comparing them with the Walrus it is clear that the British had a better plane in many ways.

Greg, have you been to Point Cook airbase to see the restored Walrus they have there? Not really anything to do with this build (which is amazing - when I grow up I want to be this good), but worth a look.

I seriously never want to see one again. For some reason it didn’t like CA (I think it’s gone off), V1 got knocked off the desk by (I suspect) the wife turning off a lamp, smashed to bits, V2 would just not stick and V3 is barely satisfactory. The Pontos set does not include ships habits and the kit ones are horrible. I had some spare from my Dreadnought build but need a lot more, $6 worth of davits hopefully arriving tomorrow to finish this build.

Ah no way you blame the wifey. She was getting her aluminum foil back! V2 ... why use CA to put plastic together? V3 barely (or barly as Sam [src] would say) satisfactory ... but you got one which doesn't look bad at all from up here, which is actually half a globe away ...

Ship's habits?

Carl, that clear plastic used for the aircraft doesn't play well with our plastic cements. Don't know why. CA seems to be the best bet.

epoxy, Ken ... CA isn't marvelous on plastic either, but we make do as it's the nearest best thing with PE an' plastic. roughing it up helps considerably

Quite the build Greg. Every time I look at the pictures I see something I had not seen before. Incredible craftsmanship.
