  1. Hello Len and Welcome
  2. Thanks Pierre , she looks like a fine looking kit that should make into a great model, I see a few cannons and a couple of ships boats to be built. Going to be fun, I'll be watching for your log.
  3. Hey that's sweet Pierre, any chance of a peek inside? This one is defiantly on my list
  4. Hey Al, just checking in on your build. Hopfully you and yours had a great holiday season. Looking forward to seeing more of your fine craftsmanship

  9. Looks real nice Dave. Your selection of woods really compliment each other.
  10. Hi Mark, I'm with Greg, way too honest. The wales, chainplates, chesstrees ......the whole ship for that matter...........looks great
  11. If it were me doing it I would taper all strips and start at the wale , this is just me, and you are the Captain. Happy holidays
  12. Love your lighting . If your Victory kit does not show up soon Rick at Modellers Workshop rick@shousha-inc.com; is the Canadian distributor he may be able to help you out.
  13. Truly magnificent, beautiful carvings. You have a wonderful talent. If I could only build a boat worthy of one of your carvings !! Merry Christmas
  14. I am the same as Pat and Mark, I buy mine from Lee Valley(medium)
  15. First of all you sure have done a good job of planking so far, when I get to this stage of planking I will quite often work both ways, up and down. I am not really sure if it would make a difference or not, it doesn't look like you are going to have any problems.
  16. Incredible Vince, just beautiful. Looking forward to seeing how you handle the anchor bits and breast rail
  17. That would indeed be a lot of work making those copper plates. My hand goes out to you for doing such work . And please start a build log, it would be nice to see more of this build and your techniques.
