    Amalio, At the stern it looks as if you have given more form to the wood, than at the bow. It looks more smooth. I saw some very interesting naval/nautical paintings at your wall

    Samwise Gamgee ... To my recollection he was not that clumsy, he was, to my recollection, quite a solid anchor ... You could make a light weight frame for the backdrop, to put on your desk ... just a thought, though ... Cheers

    Jack, I lost sight of this build, unfortunately. You've done some wonderful work. A nice staining tutorial too.     I'm not for wall paper either, I like my walls quiet, this in combination with the deck scrambles my sight ... You're making some good progress. Maybe an option to rotate your images ...?

    Told you so, Piet. Love the mill and the shop ... maybe with a lighter colour, we could have seen the details on the door, but this is more realistic for the type of building. Again some great results on a tiny scale! Cheers

    Those boilers are quite the chunk of metal. You could use a satin finish on them ... i.e. if you don't like the mat

    Simon, You're off to a good start. The other log will certainly help you out if the building instructions are unclear. You might find more logs, when you search for lady Nelson in the topic Build Logs for SHIP MODEL KITS, although, I presume you did that already

    It seems that the KWdG was adequately outfitted when I read Nils' post about the number of boats he must produce ... besides it's a German vessel and furthermore, IMHO, cannot be compared with the Titanic in build or purpose ... Nils, Very nice progress. Besides the stack of boats you need, you're nearly starting a production line of skylights ...

    Mobbsie, Your PM-box is full. You cannot receive any messages. I presume you mean upload, download is to your PC/laptop. What browser do you use? Do you use the flash-uploader or the "normal" one. Try change the upload from one to the other. What virus programm do you use?

    Owww ... Mark, you should take two measurements: One like you do now, and one where you flip over the pointed ends of your jig to be at the top, or put a block underneath the thickness of the beam. The latter will give you a different size in some cases, especially deep down in the hull. You can sand the angle on your beam to make it flush fit. Besides that, there is the curvature of the hull to take into account too, which implies four measures ... It is easy to tell someone what to do, after the error is made, but your work does look great, even from this side of the globe!!! Well done.
