First she is gonna go in a display but when ?

When I buy one it cost me about 800 Euro's and that's to expensive !

So I have to take a look at plexiglass.

The Aggy is still in the box and she stay there till the first of January.

I think it's a nice date to start on her.

In the mean while back to the SI.

Shrouds and ....yep, ratlines ....again !

Sjors for display maybe you should think about what I am planning :

this is an OZ website but I am sure they will have these in the Netherlands too : http://www.shopsupplies.com.au/showcases-glass/tower-showcases

expensive but you can display 4 ships in there and in the end you pay less then if you buy 4 separate display cases

are you tempted to have two builds going on again?

I can not say any more eloquently what others have said, my friend. She is wicked slick (rough transkation - beautiful). Thou can be proud of the result - you worked through that dozen or so problems and, along with your gnomes, have succeeded (insert favorite animated gif here)

Thanks again  :D  :D  :D

Kevin,

Yes, from January I have again two builds.

But the main build will be the San Ildefonso.

I think it works for me the best having two together.

Normally when I have one build and when I get started, I will glue the frames and will not wait till the glue is dry.....

Then you touch a few frames and the they are out of line.

I will do now one frame at the time and then wait till the other day to do the next one.

In the mean time I can work at the San Ildefonso.

I hope that answers your question ?

Thanks Lawrence,

I know that I have no patient to wait till the glue is dry.....

Now I can force myself to wait !

On the table where the tools are, I start with the Aggy.

It is out of the way and I don't need the tools at the time.

Hi Sjors,

Yes, every thing's all right, thanks. It's just that I have had very little available time for MSW of late... I hope to be more present from now on.

@ Lawrence,

I'm not an expert !

I'll doing my best and every time it goes better but I'm still far away from be an expert

You are doing a great job on your Victory !

The tips I past along the way is what I have learn from other builders.

The tip about lining up the chains is coming from Garward.

Dan Vad send me a few pictures how to serving the deadeyes and the lanyards.

That's something I'm gonna use now at the San Ildefonso.

So every time you are learning something new and you gonna use that to improve your model.

That's the greatest thing on this forum.

People share there skills and tips !

I'm also lucky that Mobbsie is watching over my shoulder and I have a critic-us in the house.

When she don't like something, she is saying it and I have to change that.

@ Dragzz,

Thank you very much !
