Valery, I accidentally found your assembly. I'm shocked! I have specially registered on this site to express my admiration for your work.

I live in St. Petersburg and have the opportunity to visit the St. Petersburg Naval Museum. I always thought that the Varyag model displayed in the museum hall is the most accurate in the world, because it was made at the same shipyard as the ship. But your Varyag is superior in detailing and elaboration of all elements! It's fantastic!

I will be happy to follow your work!

I want to wish all of us that the madness that the government of my country is doing is over soon!

Dmitry, thank you for your review and kind words.
I have repeatedly visited your wonderful city, my friends live there and I always have the most sincere memories of this.
I already wrote earlier that the Varyag model in the museum of St. Petersburg was built by master fashion designers before the real ship was built. So it can't be very detailed. This is a demonstration model of the future cruiser. This model is executed impeccably in terms of its purpose. ;)

Valeriy, are the parts for the block hand-cut/-filed or photo-etched? The blocks look very good indeed. Judging by the matchstick, they must be about 3 mm long?

I commend you for your perseverance in those dire circumstance! Keep fingers crossed!

Thanks for your kind words!

It’s impossible for me to order photo-etching now, so I had to do it manually.

Amazing. With my +/-0.5 mm tolerance I’ll never make it. I have struggling trying to make my ladders (1/64 scale) more to scale but haven’t got it right yet.

The accuracy class of the parts to a large extent depends on the tools and equipment that you use.

The main thing is that you have a desire to make your parts better. So everything will work out! :)
